Philip blackmails Nicole in to helping Titan defeat E.J. in the fuels war. Melanie dumps Philip, even though she knows his kiss with Melanie was a fake. E.J. forces Melanie to sign the contract and promises her he will protect her from Titan if she cooperates. Lucas and Chloe are involved in an explosion, and Chloe promises God she will be a perfect wife and mother for Lucas and Allie if Lucas is OK.

Maggie agrees to forgive and forget with Chloe. Chloe promises to tell Lucas the truth and "do the right thing." Kate arrives at the hospital and learns Lucas was drinking before the accident. Chloe tells Lucas she wants to get back together, and Lucas tells her he doesn't remember anything after his first drink. Nicole tells E.J. Brady warned her not to mess with Titan and threatens to leave with Sydney if he doesn't cease the fight for the fuels project. E.J. warns Nicole to stay away from Brady and learns that Sami is coming home.

Nicole agrees not to see Brady anymore. She begs Philip to back off, but he refuses. Chloe tells Daniel she can't be with him anymore because of her prayer to God. Nicole and Sami bicker at the DiMera mansion. Philip begs Stephanie for another chance. Kate tells Lucas she is in remission, and he tells her Chloe and him are getting back together. Sami and E.J. are reunited, and he introduces her to Sydney. Kate sees Chloe and Daniel kissing.

Daniel tells Chloe he will wait for her. Kate tells Lucas she doesn't want him taking Chloe back. She tries to tell him about the kiss but isn't able to because of his health. Rafe visits Grace at the convent but refuses to let sister Teresa tell Sami. Philip runs in to Daniel and Chloe and tells Chloe that Lucas wants her back. Nicole watches E.J. and Sami bond over Johnny. Sami calls sister Teresa to check on Grace, and Nicole overhears the conversation. She then finds out about the accident and rushes to Lucas' side. Nicole accuses E.J. of being in love with Sami. Sister Teresa gives Rafe a picture of Sami and Grace.

Sami arrives at the hospital, and when Lucas asks about the baby she says it was stillborn. Nicole continues to rant about E.J. still being in love with Sami and eventually blames the war with Titan for their relationship's problems and her insecurities. Kate and Chloe discuss Chloe's sudden change of heart and why Chloe was at Daniel's apartment. Sami tells Lucas to get rid of Chloe. Hope tells Bo she misses him and wants to come home. After talking with Victor Philip denies his continued love for Stephanie and tells her she is the only one who can change him. E.J. rips up the fuels project formula to prove his love for Nicole, and she is thrilled. Bo promises not to keep his visions from Hope, then has a vision of Hope in bed with a man. Kate tells Victor Chloe isn't the woman she thought she was. Nicole tells Philip he won the war. Will (now played by Dylan Michael Patton) returns home.
